Hookalco — Privacy Policy
Hookalco is a personal journal for tracking hookah and alcohol sessions. It is built around the principle that your data is yours alone.
What we collect
Nothing on our servers. Hookalco has no servers.
All data you log — session dates, places, items, ratings, clean-day markers, onboarding seed dates — is stored locally on your iPhone and synced to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit private database. We do not have access to your data and cannot retrieve it.
What we share
Nothing.
Third-party services
None. The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking libraries.
Permissions
Hookalco asks for one capability: iCloud, used solely to sync your sessions across your own Apple devices. You can disable this in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Hookalco at any time.
Children
Hookalco is rated 18+ and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from any user.
Changes
If we ever change this policy we will update the "Last updated" date above and post a notice in-app before the change takes effect.
